In watching their game against Florida today, the broadcasters noted that LSU only had 54 players on scholarship.
I knew they graduated a whole lot of good players to the NFL after last season, and had some minor self-imposed sanctions. But how in the world did they get to more than 30 fewer scholarship players than permitted by the NCAA?
In the last four years they signed 25-24-23-24 recruits. That’s 96 players. Where did they all go? I checked the transfer portal... in the last two years they had 12 players transfer out and 2 transfer in
