What do you guys think will happen today?

I believe we will see a split this season. I don't think either team is good enough to overcome playing on the road. Both games should be close. Anyway good luck today.

I was thinking we would get a split when we had Levert and Walton. With Levert out for the season and Walton at least out this game I'm not optimistic about our chances of winning either game. We are long shots to make the NCAA tournament and may not even get into the NIT but in some respects this might be JB's best coaching performance....he is not playing even close with a full hand and has to rely on unheralded freshman.

Generally agree: with two evenly matched teams, the home team wins 90% of the time.

A few caveats: this Wolverine team can play some very good defense. If they can sustain that through a full game, they could pull out a low scoring game. Also, JB is a much better game coach that Tom Izzo. He often finds a way to pull out close games.
If this game is close with 5-6 minutes left, this could be a W.

Well, the game was much closer than I expected but at the end of the day we don't have a go to player to make something happen at the end. I give a couple of the freshman credit for having good games but this team is missing a couple pieces to be a truly good team. Like I've said before, we are playing for next year.

JB thoroughly out coached TI today. Izzo used to own the last 2 minutes of close games. We never used to blow 5 point leads with less than 2 minutes to go. Not anymore.

UM just ran out of gas in OT. MSU survived. That's all.

Good effort. Good game. As a Spartan I feel only relief. Not satisfaction.

Wolverines had to keep that game in the 50s in order to pull it out. In the end, they wore down due to lack of depth. However, they will certainly win the re-match in AA.
