What do we expect Michigan football to be?

I understand yesterday’s loss is unacceptable, but what do we ultimately expect our program to be? Are we expecting to be among the elite, with routine trips to the CFP? The top tier programs, I think we can all agree are operating under a different set of rules. If we don’t want to wade into the swamp water, what exactly can we expect? Harbaugh has us back to where we’ve been for the most part. 8-10 wins with a run at the playoffs here and there. I’m just struggling to understand what we all expect while being a clean program. If we won yesterday I’m assuming everyone would be very pleased with where we are in year 6. Most every program, even the scandalous elites, drop games they shouldn’t. From everything I could tell, no one was expecting us to be a juggernaut this year, with a very young team, new QB, and inexperienced OL. So I guess, for those who aren’t happy with our situation, what’s the end goal here while still being on the up and up? I for one am happy with 9-10 wins with a run at the playoffs here and there. We aren’t competing with OSU any time soon and I just don’t know what coach would be able to get us there without cheating these days.
