What are the short/ long term impacts of the Finotti and Partridge hires?

I get short-term, which is access to players that those guys have relationships with.

Long-term, what does this do for recruiting in their areas? Do their relationships with their former peers and rivals open doors (my guess is yes).

All machines need big engines and these guys are part of that. But am curious as to it says strategically
