Michigan was picked by the so-called experts to finish just above the middle of the pack in the Big Ten at the beginning of the season, they went out and won the conference. Huge kudos to the coaches and team.

The 23-day COVID pause was frustrating for everyone and will continue to be for some.

Losing Isaiah Livers to an injury at the worse time of the season is a killer and you have to feel for that guy. Worked his butt off for 4 seasons and have it ended just like that.

Making it to the Elite 8 without Livers was a MAJOR accomplishment for this team. Losing last night sucked, but these single elimination tournaments are hard win each game. You have to have a tad bit of luck. Hats off to UCLA for taking advantage of their opportunities.

I am not devastated by the loss, sure I am sad, but not so much because I thought Michigan was going to win a NC this year; but for the players who gave it their all this season to come up just shy of making it to the Final Four. To seeing some of these guys playing in their last game in the Maize and Blue.

And to be honest, I truly do not feel Michigan was in a great position to beat Gonzaga, if they were to have made it to the FF. I realize anything can happen, but I am okay with taking what this team accomplished and look toward a very bright future!
