I'm no meteorologist or student of storms but this seemed to go from a tropical depression afterthought (like just 1-2 days ago) to being a monster QUICK.

Most believe it will be at least a Cat 3 by landfall. Some believe more.

Stay safe you boys down there near Corpus.
