I've been with him all the way. I keep saying he has the best passing game while moving his feet of any QB I've seen at UM since Brady/Henson. He showed that again this game. There have been lots of doubters on this board, but 13-3 TD/INT ratio, 8-0 record, and a big game in a big game should silence the critics.

He played a great game.. had the one int but he said on the sideline he never saw the guy. I was pissed they put the handcuffs on the offense after that but I somewhat understand. Big road rivarly games and the coaches didn't want to give MSU the game..

Speight should totally be starting QB next year. Just think of how much better he'll be after a full year of play under his belt. As good as he will be will totally negate the lose of seniors on offense because he'll know how to manage the game and utilize the talent their.
It'll kinda be like a Belichik/Brady situation next year I think IMHO.

You could read his lips repeatedly in sideline shots after the INT, "I never saw him (the DB)".
