you better buckle up because Maryland is coming to town and we will likely get their best game of the year. This is just another team that is tired of hearing about Harbaugh, our signing of recruits on their turf, and how our talent is so much better than theirs. This Terp team is talented offensively and they have a mobile QB who knows Michigan plays man-to-man defense on the backside. Every Saturday going forward from here to OSU is a major hurdle. Every team is capable of beating us. It’s the B1G. It’s why college football is so exciting. I’ll never forget the B1G conference stretch in 97-the most exciting time in my football life. Nail biters. Dominating stretches by the defense. A comeback against Iowa. Culminating in maybe the most electric football game in B1G history against Ohio State.
We’re are 4-1 and undefeated in the conference. We are setup for a run at the conference championship which is all you can ask for at this point. Our team is improving every week and we have a potential superstar at QB-and arguably the best Defense in our league. Our two toughest games before a showdown with OSU are at the Big House and MSU looks completely beatable in East Lansing. Not saying we get to OSU undefeated, just pointing out that we are setup to get there. The path is certainly much clearer now that it was when the season started. I’m going to enjoy the ride and root for this team just like I did 1997. Go Blue!
