Had things gone well with the 49ers, Jim Harbaugh would never have left S.F. for the MI coaching job. I guess it's both luck and fate.

Thank god for Harbaugh or I would have quit not just watching Michigan football and basketball, but watching college football and basketball as whole no matter which teams play possibly forever as I cannot handle hated MSU being so great in both FB and hoops when we are not.
Harbaugh will change that in football and make us better than MSU although MSU is not going to go away with Dantonio and will still be good, but we will rise and be the better program again and win 2 out of every 3 years I think.
As for basketball who the heck knows. I saw Beilein lead us to equal footing and even slightly better head to head from 2011 to 2014 only, but after and before that, it was as lopsided in favor of MSU as it gets unfortunately and appears headed that way again or at least MSU being far better or at least better even with us having Beilein at the helm.
So we must return the favor in football in the future for true Wolverine fans to be happy. And no one better to do that than Harbaugh.

Not even luck is going to bring Schiano back to Rutgers though. Why would he want to coach in a situation where he's only gonna average 7 wins a season?
