Lincoln shot, right? OK is inaccurate. On the first drive alone, he overthrew a wide open DPJ and Perry open inside the 10. Missed on the short stuff, too, including sailing it over Higdon's head in the flat. OK allowed two delay of game penalties in two critical situations. His ball fakes are weak in play action. Big thing is that he didn't turn it over, although he was lucky on a couple throws.

Reffing in this game was maddening. We deserved most of the penalties we got, but a few were bad calls. Hurst did NOT rough the QB. It was not late, and he didn't throw the QB to the ground. It was a textbook tackle. PI on Hill on his first INT was weak. IU was hand fighting our receivers all day with but one call.

Higdon is not flashy, just goes to work. Great to see him pop one. His OT run for a TD was huge, a great effort. His long run was really well blocked counter play that got IU flowing one way. Bredeson pulled and made a great block to spring him. Isaac had his moments, too. Walker showed well on his one carry, a run to the outside where he showed good speed. And, of course, ball security was good.

Didn't blitz Ramsey as much in the 4th quarter, which allowed him to make some plays. He had time to find receivers on crossing routes. Love Hill. A playmaker. Jourdan Lewis clone, maybe better before he's done. Great instincts. On the IU TD pass in the 4th quarter, he was clearly interfered with. To call it a rub route was a joke. And the safety was late reacting.

Nordin should end up being the best kicker in UM history. His FGs seem effortless and always end up half up the net. Robbins is serviceable at this point. Harbs should have told him to kick it out of bounds on the 4th Q punt that was returned to out 20.

We were so fortunate to get the ball after the onside kick. The kick was as well executed as can be.

Don't like a Michigan team getting so many after the whistle unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Can't lose your composure like that. Those really helped IU to stay in the game.

The O just resorted to the run in the second half because we had no passing attack. It was pretty effective until our last two possessions. We need a lot more balance against the coming opponents. Won't be able to get away with that v. PSU, Wiscy and OSU. If Harbs can straighten out OK and the offense, we can beat those teams. If not, it's hard to see a path to victory.
