i go to the dentist every 6 months. haven't needed anything but cleanings and x-rays for 8 years. 8 years ago i had one filling for a cavity. i have never had any dental work, other than cavities filled. most all of those as a kid. i am now 41.

went to the dentist 2 weeks ago. no x-rays were taken because i had x-rays 6 months earlier. got a cleaning and went home.

today, all of the sudden, one of my teeth hurts. only one molar on the bottom left. no visible signs of a crack, swelling or anything else out of the open.

pain isn't *too* bad but it worries me since i am travelling next week for the holidays.

should i wait it out or call the dentist? pain started this morning. thanks.
