and I just can't figure out how parents of recruits buy what James Franklin is selling?
If I had to pick a rival university out of PSU, OSU, and MSU based off of just the school, I'd pick PSU.
If I had to pick one of those based purely on the head coach, I don't know that it would even be close from 2nd to 3rd.
This guy's always selling and tries way too hard. Talking about how he coached Donald Driver (who went to Alcorn St and has nothing to do with PSU) "who just got inducted into the Hall of Fame" he reminds everyone and brings up analytics and how it proved he made a correct assistant coaching hire. I mean seriously? I really think I'd rather have my son go be a rowing gopher.
Hate to clog the board up, especially on a morning with so many great posts but I just don't get the appeal watching this guy. So many successful and classy coaches in our conferences and this guy just sticks out as something else.
