Then they say illegal man downfield. No. 80 was covered up.
What was the actual call because it doesn't make sense to me even if it was wrong. Was it Illegal formation or illegal man downfield? I thought if someone was covered up it was illegal formation?
Either way the call was wrong and the flag was thrown right after the catch.
The whole thing just seemed shady or the refs are just that clueless.
Any rules experts out there that can explain that call to me?
