And I have a question for @SteveQHouston regarding reentry burn. Returning spacecrafts enter the atmosphere at a very high rate of speed. I assume this causes a tremendous amount of friction and thus causes the reentry burn; again, just an assumption. My question: is there a similar reaction as a spacecraft exits our atmosphere?
