It's clear that the ACC is garbage this year, and they played such out of conference juggernauts as Furman and Georgia Southern...OK, TAMU was a decent win, but that highly ranked team is now 5-4. And they have the rival South Carolina at the end of the year, as always, but that should be like playing your little brother...
...so they played maybe 2 decent ACC teams, and flexed their muscles to the tune of 246-36 over the last 4 games, for an average margin of 52.5 points.
They might actually have an intriguing game next week @BC...so what happens if they stub their toe? Has the dominance given them the same cred as Alabama? Would a one-loss Clemson have an argument over a one-loss Michigan? By the numbers, they play defense, but do they really? 26 to TAMU, 23 to Syracuse, 21 to GaT (OK, that's a weird offense), and...??? A bunch of little sisters...
What do you think? The Clemson faithful thinks they would mop up the floor with Michigan...I think a 4 quarter game against a freshman QB who spent most of the first 3 quarters on his butt might say otherwise...
