I will take an overrated undefeated team in the country over an overrated 2 loss team and so would you.

MSU is far and away the worst 8-0 team college football has ever seen. The 1984 BYU Cougars are insulted being called overrated compared to MSU. One can only be thankful that this system will not allow s one loss MSU team in the playoffs.
USC is far from a bad team. They would have beat your Spartans by 4 TDs in the coliseum yesterday.,
If we replay Utah tomorrow we win that game. They are lucky it was the first game of the season and they had the home field advantage w/ altitude advantage as well.

USC played up to it's talent which it hasn't done most of the year. It doesn't mean that Utah isn't a good team, it just shows that disciplined play, a solid defense, and an efficient offense, can win a lot of games, create some upsets, but eventually loses to talent.
Michigan is winning this season the way Utah is doing so. Harbaugh will continue to build the talent portion of the equation the next several years.

It's always what woulda in another scenario removed from reality with UM fans. It's actually become entertaining to see all the new twists that come up. I especially love the "We're undefeated O'Korn is our QB" scenario.

USC would be a national title contending team if they actually had good coaching all season rather than a fake drunk in Sark. They have enormous amounts of talent that has grossly under performed and finally rose up and played to their talent level.

Let's be honest here. Sparty looks like crap pretty much every week and wins. Osu had a team like that in 2002. So, like it hasn't happened before.

This is hilarious. You guys don't even think about what you say before you write it. Our most quality win was Oregon? I agree, much higher quality than our win in Ann Arbor over UM. Oh, I forgot, you don't count that as an MSU win.

That 3 point win at home was your marque win until the UM game which was given to Sparty on a golden platter....but Sparty On DA.
Are quality losses like moral victories? In what universe is a "quality loss" better than a win? What's sadder, being 5-2 or 8-0?
What's sad is being 8-0 with not one quality win and struggling to beat the two worst teams in the BIG (Purdue & Rutgers). Fortunately you have a QB that can

Hey, I'll take 8-0 any day over talking about quality losses (as to the original post, Utah is obviously a very good team). By the way, what exactly is UM's quality win - at least MSU has beaten a team that is currently ranked?
Yes, MSU has Cook, and they are doing their best to overcome a ton of injuries, particularly in the defensive backfield and O-line.

Do you know how difficult it is to go undefeated in any sport let alone football? Was OSU undefeated last year? and they are LOADED with the most talented bunch of players in the nation. Come on man, Utah is an excellent football team and so what if USC beat them. That does not mean a damn thing in football. The game still has to be played each Saturday and the team that beat Michigan in the first week would most likely not be able to beat Michigan right now is they played now. Why? Because Michigan has gotten better each week. Michigan won't lose another game unless the Buckeyes clip them in Ann Arbor in November and that is going to be super tough to do. I would not be surprised if Michigan finished 11-2 this year.
