Oden's interest should be no secret. Yesterday, @Josh Henschke put in a FutureCast for Michigan on the 2024 prospect. With that in mind, this is one to pay attention to throughout the weekend as he's a legitimate candidate to drop while on campus.

Montgomery has visited numerous times so this isn’t a shocker. Ohio State remains the favorite. But each additional trip to Ann Arbor is another opportunity for Jim Harbaugh & Co. to change the tune in this recruitment. Dad is real into Michigan. Rivals100 prospect. Would be a true win on the trail over the Buckeyes if in the end he chooses the Wolverines.

Michigan has been involved for a minute here. Several other schools are in the mix: Auburn, Notre Dame, in-state Rutgers, Penn State, Tennessee, USC, and more. With Mike Elston now at Michigan, I do wonder if that creates a string of momentum for Michigan with Mitchell, beginning today. Michigan has a proven track record in New Jersey as we know and will be able to use that here, too.

Josh has his FC on Michigan here, too. This is a guy the staff loves in this class. His versatility and skill set give him serious upside. This is another name we’ll be keeping a close eye on.

Potentially the most talented prospect on campus this weekend, Green is the No. 26 player in the country and the third-best tackle. It’s going to be a national battle for Green. I think his process will be longer and we’ll be keeping up with this one until December or an announcement, whichever comes first. Sherrone Moore is excellent in these settings, though, and could make a lasting impact this weekend.

The country’s fastest-rising prospect in the 2022 class, Paul could be the most important prospect on campus in the short-term. Michigan needs to lock this one down and it knows it. The running back depth is non-existent with only four scholarship backs on the roster, including 2022 signee CJ Stokes. Paul is a need, but he’s also a want. His film is excellent and at times simply unreal. The situation at Michigan is attractive to Paul, given the lack of depth at the position. This would give him an opportunity to be a leader of the pack as sophomore or junior. Michigan isn’t afraid to mix him in earlier, either, as evidenced by burning Donovan Edwards’ redshirt in 2021. Paul is one to keep an eye on throughout the weekend.
