Currently my fav UM team, UM's WBB team won in the tourney last nite 66-58 against Washington Huskies.
Today at 2:30pm on BTN (darn, forgot to set my DVR b4 I left), they play UMd in a rematch of 2-3 weeks ago in College Park (where rocked my beautiful-beautiful new maize Bryce Underwood jersey😀). Will be another tough game today (the B1G is stacked for WBB).
Last nite, "Do it All" Liv Olson led with 21pts and Syla Swords scored 15pts. Sr. leader Jordon Hobbs had 11pts and the other Big 3 Freshman Mila Holloway had 8 assts.
Listen ladies and gents, win lose or draw, these young ladies "bring it" every game and often play in attack-mode, and even when they lose, I never think "they played soft tonight" like I've done a few times with another B-ball team we all know😉.
In 2027, these ladies will compete for the National title (if not sooner) IMHO.
BTW, Liv Olson was awarded B1G Freshman of Year (co with OSU player), and Liv and Syla both made 2nd team All-B1G team, and Mila Holloway was Honorable Mention All-B1G. The future has never been as bright.
Don't sleep on these ladies....root them on, in this tourney and the Big Dance!!
