Patrick Kugler appears to have an edge at C, John O'korn has separated along with Speight at QB and JBB is in the fight at RT. These guys are all 4th or 5th year players who are fighting to get playing time before their UM career is over. I'm not talking about guys like guys that saw the field enough to show their wares such as Hurst and Isaac(still never reached workhorse status). To close out this thought there are some guys who are sophomores ands juniors who are in the same boat because of present young talent and incoming recruits. Some of these guys will finish their career elsewhere.
Who are your guys with the clock ticking? (Barring major injury) Why?
I'll give you three, but they are all over the field:
JBB - If he loses right tackle battle, Runyon may never relinquish it, Newsome back next year, and rising talent.
Mo Ways - two classes of receivers with speed, size, and talent.
Brandon Watson - Ended up being sandwiched by great talent. Lewis-Strib before him and Long-Hill after him with talented freshmen coming.
Who are your guys..... with he clock ticking?
