Basketball recruiting why is it that um coaches cannot lore big-time recruits to Ann Arbor can a basketball coaches recruit it don't look like it to me They been there for years no McDonald's All-American good coaches but they not very good in recruiting

You seem to be wondering why Michigan's excellent coaching staff is having trouble luring McD's AA level recruits to Ann Arbor. That's a valid question. Many elite recruits aren't interested in playing by the rules so Beilein is unable to recruit them. Others want to be 1 and done and Beilein is more interested in kids that want to be in college. Others just choose to go to other really good schools.

Recruiting is tough business. But Beilein has shown he can have great teams without a single McD's AA so I'm not worried.
