But when it's win or go home...I will take ugly.
Can't see us shooting that bad from behind the arc again. Or I hope not.
Walton was not good tonight even before foul trouble. I have to assume he will have a bigger impact.
Donnal has disappeared, with just a few exceptions. Would really like to see him have a big game along with Wagner's emergence.
MAAR is playing aggressive, hopefully it starts to rub off on his teammates going forward.
Robinson had a solid night - a couple of big shots - need a few more.
Dakich was a liability tonight on defense. I like his effort, just not quick enough. If we have to lean on him heavy going forward we are in trouble.
Chatman or Dawkins are going to make some big shots...I just feel it.
Back to Wagner...how can you not be excited about his future.
Finally - last player - Irvin has taken a lot of grief this year. Sometimes he has deserved it. But he has made some big shots in the B1G tournament and now tonight. Really liked him driving in and taking the jumpers when nothing else was falling. Hoping he is 100% next year and has a big finish to his U-M career.
By the way...JB has now led his team to the dance 6 of 9 years. 5 of the last 6, missing just the one year our roster was depleted by the draft and injuries. I hope people will let that sink in a little before they start clamoring for change, the next time we lose a game.
Last comment. Despite the ugly win, I applaud these kids for continuing to fight. Their toughness has been questioned and they haven't always played well, but they have never quit. Despite injuries and being left for dead by a lot of fans and bracketologists, here they are in the field of 64. Go Blue!
