Jersey guy here. I've known Tyus since he was in 5th Grade. My son has worked out with him and his Dad on many, many occasions. Congratulations on getting a fantastic player and a better kid.
I honestly don't know how these coaches do it anymore.
Putting up with the recruits and parents in this day and age...

Different perspective. Wish Mr. Battle all the best. Nice looking player and good student. I hope UM can get Mr. Cumberland...looks like a better version of Novak.
But back to the reason for the post. Now can you blame JB for not wanting to go after these 1 and done/high end guys. Lot's of drama. You got to know how to play the game (Calipari) and even Coach K. So many handlers and interests to appease.
Rather UM go after top 100 guys and rely on JB scouting/evaluation and development. You play with fire...you might get burned. It happened and a lesson for the fans. Something tells me JB is probably seething right now. I personally don't have a problem with a 3-4 year guy.
