about todays game. First, where was all those special wrinkles M had kept back for The Game? I remember Jim saying they did some something to prepare for OSU every day. If they had any deceptive plays, why were none of them deployed on 2 point conversions? Where were all those things they worked on? Disappointing play selection today but the offense is not why they lost.
Second, how could the game planning on defense not include the plays that were successful against our defense the last three weeks? Did Brown not see all the success Rutgers and Indiana had running wildcat/QB runs? Did he not see all the slants and crossing route success? Did he not think OSU would pickup on it and incorporate into their game plan? Or was he just so arrogant that he thought adjustments were unnecessary. OSU attacked M exactly the way I expected them to and I have zero coaching experience. I just don’t understand why the defense looked so clueless.
I’m a supporter of Jim and the staff-still feel he is the best possible coach for Michigan at this time. But there are times when I question their creativity, game planning, and game management abilities. This game was their worst performance of the Harbaugh era as they were unprepared on both sides of the ball. Let’s hope this game becomes a catalyst for future success.
