Trying to see both sides to this 'dispute' but I am having a

hard time with Saban being the messenger. It sure seems like Saban is coming across as feeling slighted because things could get corrupted. Is Alabama going to be victimized by unsavory recruiting practices?

Why is Saban so passionate about other schools holding camps? Alabama gets whomever they want. How many big time schools are going to have the budget or the desire to do what Harbaugh is doing? Saban can just send an assistant. Must be a competitive ego issue because why does Alabama/Saban care about a school like Michigan. Is Michigan really a threat? Not really.

In fact...Michigan would probably dilute the power of OSU if they become successful. Is there any other school in the SEC that is going to benefit from this stuff? Why the concern over such a minor issue.

Look at Alabama. I'll bet you a 1/4 of their players are from outside the south so this is good business for them to branch out and they can either go along with the supposed corruption or just beat it.

I think some of the coaches are beginning to feel the recruiting heat (btw it will be 108 in SoCal on Friday). JH is a living trademark and if he wins big this season he will be in Bama's shoes. IF UM can steal a few Bama commitments all hell will break out so Saban is just trying to defend an indefensible position. Freeze is an example.

That was what Saban was thinking, but he was wrong. Harbaugh is going to call out the NCAA and SEC hypocrites, doesn't matter who they are. I love it.

By the way, what do you think about Saban saying the camps are bad for football and then turning around the very next week and sending an assistant coach to one of the camps??? Did Saban have a stroke or something?

But what is absolutely HILARIOUS to watch is the entire SEC, especially Saban, look like complete fools in response to Harbaugh. And that is the best part.
