avoiding a let down against lesser opponents - first year loss to Utah, IMO, doesn't qualify - last year's loss to Iowa was disappointing, but Iowa was a quality team with a great homefield advantage. Indiana has been posited here as a potential trap game. Maybe. One that I think is a longshot but worthy of note is Purdue. I was a bit concerned re: Purdue going into play last weekend, and Purdue played admirably in a close loss to Louisville. My biggest concern in playing @ Purdue this year is a returning QB who passed for a ton of yards last year. Felt our CB's might be victimized by a veteran QB. Surprisingly new HC Brohm played the 2nd string QB in addition to starter Blough, 2 TD passes for each (Blough threw 2 Int). A lot will change before we travel to West Lafayette, but as of today I think the Purdue game could be tougher than many expect.
