DJ, the 98 class featured 5 USA first team all-americans. You forgot the all-star kicker (I think he had 3 misses against UCLA) whose name I don't remember. Sadly the class of 98 featured only one OL who never started.
Hayden Epstein, that kid was a true head case. The offense from that class and defensive players (I'd forgotten that Victor Hobson was in the class) were outstanding. I think if I remember correctly that Adam Kraus was the only o-lineman
I saw the topic and had to go back and look thru some of those early 2000's classes....I will be interested to see who out of this year's class will be the next Max Martin or Pierre Rembert or Doug Dutch?? or one of my favorite UM players (in name only) Mister Simpson.

UM had a real dud of a class in the early 2000s, otherwise were typically strong. The Bentley Historical Library has lots of good info on former classes. The picture of the team always features freshmen in the back row, so you can look at the lineup roster for that or simply look down the entire roster here.
