2020
1) Stayed at Bama for 3 seasons. Started in 2022 and had a great season- losing to UGA in the BCS Championship after Bama beat UGA in the SEC championship. Missed the BCS his senior season- Great career for the #1 overall NFL Draft pick in 2023.
2) In the transfer portal for a second time after filing miserably at Clemson, then rehabbing his game a bit at Oregon State.
3) I hope nobody hurt themselves due to Michigan losing a commitment to Tennessee from this recruit. He bounced to UNLV, then to Louisville and didn't accomplish anything. Makes you wonder what those doing the rankings were looking at- Probably didn't have the dreaded "hitch in his delivery"...
4) Great player, but the antithesis to the folks who believe that a great QB and some targets is "what you need to win big", as he couldn't beat Michigan in 3 tries.
5) Left Washington, where he committed and still wasn't a starter for UCLA in his third season. Washington is in the BCS playoffs with a transfer QB with a Carter Smith ranking coming out of high school.
