So the Ap/Coaches poll has Michigan at 14. Tell me why Michigan shouldn’t be a top 10 or at worst 11th starting out on Tuesday??

ill break it down some. Last Tuesday the Playoff Committee chair spoke with the Espn Gameday/CFB live crew & he said the following:

“Injuries will play a factor” - They mentioned Tua and how he might miss or not be 100% during that game and how that could affect the way they rate them if Bama losses to LSU.

- Shea was Hurt on play 1 this Season & he didn’t get healthy until the PSU game Shea said, and DPJ & Dwumfour was hurt against Wisconsin, a great running team, since hes come back michigan has given up about 54 yards Per game. They are top players do they count? Maybe we have only 1 loss if they aren’t injured. But I know those rules only go for the SEC and Clemson..

The Committee chair also said..

“Who teams have played, and beaten will matter A lot.”

If main the main criteria the committee said they use to come up with their rankings end up being true (which I dont believe will happen because they lie and are subjective) then Michigan should be top 10 or 11th at worst.

Ahead of #14 - Michigan Strength of Schedule or (SOS) is 5th

The teams ahead of Michigan and their remaining schedule. (Teams beaten & SOS)

#13 Minnesota - #5 Penn State / @#19Iowa / 18 - Wisconsin (Zero top 25 wins & SOS 77th)

#12 Baylor - @ TCU / #10 Oklahoma / Texas. (Zero top 25 wins & SOS is 58th)

#11 Auburn - # 8 Georgia / #2 Alabama
(1 top 10 win vs Oregon) 2 top 15 losses. SOS 1st)

#10 Oklahoma - #12 Baylor / @ Okla St
(1 top 25 win vs Texas but Tex isn't ranked anymore with 3 losses. SOS 36th)

#9 Utah - Pac 12 Championship game or Home vs (4-5) UCLA. (Previously ranked Arizona St only top 35 win. 1 loss vs Unranked USC. SOS 20th)

#8 Georgia - @ #11 Auburn / Texas A&M (beat 2 top 10’s at the time Florida & Notre Dame & Loss is to bad unranked South Carolina. SOS 18th)

#7 Oregon - @Arizona State (0 top 25 wins. Close loss to Auburn is their claim to a top 10 ranking. 3 or 4 top 35-55 wins. SOS 9th

#6 Florida - @ Missouri / @Florida State (1 Top 15 win vs Auburn. 2 top 10 losses now, to Georgia & LSU. SOS 4th)

#5 Penn State - @ #13 Minnesota / #3 Ohio State (wins vs two top 15 teams Michigan & Iowa, & No losses. SOS 7th)

I put this together on Friday night so the rankings aren’t updated.. like florida and the teams that won yesterday. I just wanted to show teams ahead of Michigan & their ranking.

While looking at the rankings keep In mind the AP voters love the SEC and it shows and so beating a mid SEC team looks good because they had them ranked high at some point, or they have them higher in the top 15 then they should be, just because they are in the SEC.

If what the committee says, “we look at who teams have played & beaten” then Michigan should be at worst 11th.

Forget the playoffs & Big ten Championship, as those goals are slim to none esp the Big ten title game, but im just saying Michigan should be rated higher then 14th.

Minnesota & Baylor should be lower until at least one top 15 win. Then Florida should be as well as they have the same losses as Michigan but has 1 less top 15 win. So right there that would put Michigan 11th.

Then lets look at the pac 12 teams. They both have 1 loss, your claim cant be we almost beat Auburn a top 15 team. And then have Zero top 25 wins and say you deserve being a top 10 teams. Last year & the year before there were 1 loss teams ahead of undefeated teams and same with 2 loss teams over 1 loss teams, so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal having UM over them some undefeated 1 and 2 loss teams. Until those teams beat someone.

Michigan has MSU, @ Indiana (who might be a top 25 team, & #1 OSU remaining.

If Indiana was say Kentucky dont you think they'd be hyping them as a top 20 team? They definitely would. However, since they’re a Big 10 team they cant sniff the top 25. Even teams like Memphis (SOS 63th) & SMU (SOS 57th) are ranked. Indiana (SOS 43rd) while They haven’t beaten any top teams, winning games on the road in the big ten (outside of Rutgers) is hard no matter What. SMU & Memphis would have 3-4 losses imo with Indiana’s schedule.

so coming back to Michigan, while right now I'm Still seeing a loss to #1 Ohio st, UM will probably have the #1 or 2 SOS after tafter that game and if Michigan somehow wins out.. it would put Michigan in position to have a chance if chaos at the the top ensued.

We’ll see if the playoff committee ranks it fair and in accordance with the rules they say they follow. If it is ranked with Michigan lat 14th or lower then throw the whole committee and system in the Trash, because Then Every TOP team should just schedule Middle tenn State & like teams

honestly While I care about the rankings and hope they do right I mostly just want to win Our last 3 games... I believe we can but it will take error free and inspired/Awesome football from here out!!
