First a lil reminder/background: I recall the day he was hired by OSu (I never capitalize their “u” in University)- when he was announced at his first press conference, his very first statement was that he was hired to beat the University of Michigan, and that was what he was going to do!
He went to wax on about being born & raised in Ohio and that it was his dream to coach at OSu (oh, and that they would beat Michigan).
So if you want to continue to fantasize hiring him here, can you just imagine the flip of that ? Of him rolling up to his first day at the University of Michigan and saying something to the effect of “I’m so glad to be coaching Michigan. I have been hired to beat Ohio State university and that’s just what we are going to do !
