A few things are clear

1 - Changes to Offensive staff this off season have been a step backwords - We had Oline issues last year (maybe even worse then this year) - but still could move the ball - coordination of scheme and development have been lackluster or worse

Also - seems coaches are not on same page on many plays (25 yard route trees on 3rd and 9 - Play action on 4th down - RB's that cant block - etc.. etc.. etc...)

2 - To make it worse we have a lot more money being spent on the O side of the ball then D and getting way less of a return (3 coordinators isn't working) in play - development and scheme

3 - PSU showed the right way to use a bye week - new wrinkles and sets - learn your opposition - they saw the matchups they wanted and hit them - Mike on Barkley - Safety on slot - QB keeper when all LB's flow to RB

Smart - great coaching

We had no answers

Wish we had done the same versus MSU

My simple solution

1 - Jim needs to stop pod casts and other distractions and coach the team and do to others what they are doing to him

He needs to lead his Offensive staff and get all on the same page with a game plan that can win and team can execute

2 - He needs to coach the next 5 games as if they are playoff games - winning out and beating OSU will make the two stupid losses of this year - while piss offable - at least tolerable

lose 2 more (including OSU) and as some have said - Jims ego will be too big for his accomplishments - the Halo will be off

3 - Make his O line coaches recruit to bring in real talent - some if this issue goes back to coach Hoke and less then steller O line recruiting - but we have missed out on a few really good linemen - and as far as I can tell - Tim D doesnt really recruit for the position - WT Bleep

4 - Needs to develop a much better approach to the Offensive staff - roles and responsibility and talent development - seems Jedd was a much bigger lose then some thought - and perhaps his ideas for being successful were right on

5 - Needs to make sure the D staff stays in place and continue to do a great job - Coach Brown will learn from this game

6 - Maybe actually ask his staff how to address the issues and listen to them
