1. The only thing that bothers me about Wisconsin in Big Ten play is that they get away with murder on the defensive end. Yesterday, I have no complaints about their game. They got whistled for plenty of fouls, yet had superior offense and won with that. Dekker was incredible, watching him made me think of Larry Bird and his almost unstoppable fadeaway jumper. Kaminski was Kaminski, an unreal college player. He, too, reminds me of a former Celtic, Kevin McHale. Of course I am not predicting that he will be nearly that good in the NBA, but I do think his college game is very, very similar. I think Kentucky will handle Wisconsin by at least 10 points, but after yesterday's shooting performance, you never know.

2. I really can't say enough about Notre Dame, and how well they competed against Kentucky. Like Michigan last year, they have the type of offense to really frustrate Kentucky. They did an excellent job of spreading out Kentucky, driving and dishing, and using backdoor cuts. It really reminded me of watching Michigan play last year. Auguste was great at finishing around the rim, and cleaning up the offensive glass. If we can get DJ Wilson to emulate that role, that would be fantastic. I hope the coaching staff shows him a ton of tape of this very game and says, "you can be that type of player." That game last night was the best of the tournament as far as I am concerned.

3. Today, I predict Louisville will take down MS you. To date, MSU has not faced any athletic teams in this tournament, other than Georgia, and George's skill level was terrible. In the past, MSU has had trouble with the athletes Louisville has on defense. The Virginia game did not surprise me at all; MSU is great at playing that style of play, and they simply beat Virginia at their own game. Not to mention that Izzo had already faced Virginia last year and knew exactly what to expect. Louisville faces challenges trying to score the basketball, but they have had some young guys step up in this tournament and their defense is great as usual. Pitino may be a scumbag of a human being, but the guy can really coach basketball. If he gets this team to the final four, that's very impressive.

4. While I feel like Gonzaga has the players to beat Duke, I don't think they will. First, they do not have much tournament experience, and Duke has a few guys who have made deep runs in the tournament. Second, there is no doubt in my mind the committee wanted to see a Duke and Kentucky match up in the title game, and to win this game, can saga is going to have to outscore Duke by 10 or 15 to overcome bad calls against them. I don't think they have it in them to do that.
