nice short term solution to the suh debacle. a 4th and 5th is kinda pricey but Ngata still has some good football left in him. now what i don't want them to do is give him a 5 year deal so were stuck with a cap hit after year 3 when we eventually cut him. i will lose my marbles if thats where this trade leaves us. as for scheme we better not switch to a 3-4 just because of this trade. yes he's better suited for a 3-4 but by the time were fully settled into that scheme Ngata will be gone. we need to stick to the 4-3 all because of Ansah. he's the future of this defense. i hope they learned from the Suh stuff and they sign Ansah to an extension soon.
as for the draft it changed the needs list a bit. depending on where we go with the rest of the cap money i still think DT, OL, CB and RB are the top needs. you have to go those position with your top 3 rounds and fill the 4th in free agency
