This wasn’t a game where you’re thinking, “my grandma could pick up 7 yards through these massive holes”. Our RB’s have really made some great cuts this past month and I don’t think it’s something we’ve seen a lot of the past few years.
As for osu’s “woes” running the ball...look no further than our success. Their lack of the threat that the QB will actually keep on the read seems to have players just running downhill at Weber and Dobbins.
Say what you want about Haskins being a WAY better thrower than Barrett (and he is)...but that offense becomes truly lethal when their QB can consistently pick up those 3rd and 3’s, or rip off those 15+ yard runs.
And it’s definitely what is starting to make us really difficult to defend.
