offered Rich Rod the job? Wow. I thought it was a smart move by RR to stay at Arizona. It's a good fit for him but that being said why would South Carolina want to change their entire system?

Wasn't the UM gig a good example of overhauling a system? I guess RR is from that general area so maybe that was the reason? I think RR has built up a lot of cache from his time at WVU.

Maybe I should go over to the South Carolina board and figure out the logic. I know South Carolina isn't a top tier SEC school but what is the attraction to RR? He sells tickets with his offense?

Rich Rod would have ruined South Carolina just like he set UM back for several years. Muschamp is also a horrible hire BUT he is bringing excellent coaches in around him. He, like Rich Rod is a career coordinator and NOT a head coach. Time will tell for Kirby Smart at Georgia as well.

Just read that Muschamp leaving Auburn hurts their chances with Gary.

The Muschamp hire has got to be one of the WORST hirings in college football history. Typical good ole boy politics reeks within this and u bet the "ole ball coach" has some workings with this. In college football, South Carolina was a 'nobody" until Holtz and Spurrier came aboard.
