Although the sky has definitely fallen after that devastating loss to MSU (and make no mistake; that defeat was indeed devastating for many reasons that have all been bandied about here ad nauseum), UM still has the good fortune of controlling their own destiny with an opportunity to re-write the script of this 2017 season.

If Harbaugh can find a way to get this team re-focused and motivated, I still believe they will have a chance to beat Penn State. But they've got to approach that game like a playoff game, because the season will depend on it. A win there over an undefeated top-5 ranked Penn State team with national title hopes, in what will undoubtedly be PSU's "White-Out" game, under the lights before a nationwide audience on prime time TV, would go a long way towards restoring our national respect. In fact, win that game, and the nation's media goes right back into over-hyping Michigan again for at least a solid 2-3 weeks, as we'd dominate the airwaves and talk radio. (Lol) The MSU game would be reduced to a painful memory in our rear mirror, that would largely be inconsequential on the national level (especially after MSU goes on to lose at least 3-4 more games this season).

I know it's a tough task, but we've got a puncher's chance. Penn State's uninspiring defense could be just the elixir our uninspiring offense has been waiting for to show what they've been trying to establish all year. And the team should thank their lucky stars for a chance to redeem themselves so soon and in that fashion with all eyes on them. It's rare to get chances like that, and when you get them, you have to recognize it and seize it. In other words...."THEY BETTER...LOSE THEMSELVES IN THE MOMENT....THEY OWN IT... THEY BETTER NEVER LET IT GO! THEY ONLY GET ONE SHOT...DO NOT LOSE YOUR CHANCE TO BLOW...OPPORTUNITY COMES ONCE IN A LIFETIME!" :)

PS - And yes, I'm looking past Indiana, as I expect this to be a blowout victory along the lines of 37-13; a momentum and confidence builder for the Happy Valley trip a week later.
