The most under-appreciated portion of that article:

Rutgers' catchphrase/motivational statement for 2016 is "Fence the Garden."

Obviously, they have a problem with kids jumping the fence, and other animals getting in by burrowing underneath the fence.

Also, it appears Rutgers has actually paid money to trademark the phrase.
