Who would have thought year 3 in the Harbaugh era would yield such a sad display of football? Forget about youth-we were not competitive tonight and that is shocking.
Get rid of the distractions: no more podcasts, video crews, Euro trips, off season media antics. It’s tolerable when you’re winning, but when you lose like tonight, it looks like a cheap way to maintain relevancy. Only winning makes the program relevant and we are trending the wrong way.
Second, streamline the offensive coaching staff. One offensive coordinator, one o-line coach, a real WR coach and new RB coach.
I’ll be curious if Coach has the guts to make the necessary changes in the off season. Next year could be special, but not with unchanged offensive staff.
