There are games that immediately come to mind that define the state of the program and this is surely one of them. Losses at home to Toledo, Appalachian St and Oregon are amongst others but defined the program at the time.

ALL the momentum gained this season is lost and ANY hype about Michigan in the future will draw immediate comparisons to yesterday. This loss was a game changer. Nobody can truly and fullly believe what Harbaugh is selling anymore. Cannot sell hope, results or the NFL on the same level as the elite teams to recruits. He is a mediocre coach at a school which has underachieved for 2 decades. This one stings and will for years to come as, for me, doubt that anyone can turn this truly around is just not realistic anymore.
