This Nebraska-UT Chattanooga thing brings to mind something else I've wondered in recent days...

The Big 10 seemingly made it clear that they are not cool with schools scheduling non-conference games in place of cancelled ones. But would they consider allowing last-minute realignment of the conference schedule in cases where things work out?

For instance: Purdue and Michigan are not currently slated to play each other. Purdue has Wisconsin on the schedule next weekend, which seems to me like a game that is in at least some danger of not being played. Michigan has Indiana next Saturday. If Purdue/Wisconsin gets cancelled on account of the Badgers once again declining to play, and the Hoosiers were to have a big COVID-19 outbreak that leads to the cancellation of our game against them next weekend (in spite of Michigan Football being fine on the virus front)... would the Big 10 be supportive of the Michigan AD and Purdue AD throwing together a conference consolation game for next Saturday 11/7/20?
