I always think you can never look at common opponents and then compare teams because a lot can change week to week but I have to say, there is just something special about this team. I also get really irked when folks think Michigan has played a very "weak" schedule or has not been tested. Let's look at some facts:
  • Bama's best win has been against USC. They beat Tenn (who should have lost to Georgia and App State - btw, Georgia lost to Vandy!!!). They beat T A&M who barely beat UCLA...UCLA absolutely sucks!!! They beat Arkansas who's best win was against TCU, which also really sucks!
  • Washington has yet to have a great win. They almost lost to a terrible AZ team and the PAC is awful right now - across the board.
  • OSU barely beat Wisconsin, lost to a terrible PSU team. They beat an Oklahoma team that has absolutely ZERO defense. The same Oklahoma team that lost to Houston - who btw have lost to SMU and Navy and should have had another loss as well to freaking Tulsa.
I would argue that based on true results, etc you have to say that Michigan has actually perhaps played as well as anybody else. They are no worse then the Clemson, Bama, Washington's of the world based on the first 7 games. Colorado is starting to look like a very good win. Wisconsin is a very very legit team. We spanked PSU by 39 points with none of our starters playing in the 4th quarter!

Now there is a lot of football still left but I don't think anyone should discount what this Michigan team has done and the fashion they have done this with.

Tell me about the great wins on the road? Alabama has yet to play Rutgers on the road. I understand the hesitancy in regards to UM.

Here is a little vinegar to consider. The only road game that UM has played it was Peppers who was the best qb. All of the important games will not be played in Ann Arbor from here on out.

Don't you think that is a reasonable point of view for a group of doubters?

Best first seven games of the season for UM in at least ten years, probably since 1985.
