Noon kick-off on a Saturday in late November between two schools playing for a likely Big Ten title and a chance to be national champion. Back to the football of my youth during the Ten Year War. Always the most anticipated day of the year for me since our 1968 humiliation at the hands of Ohio State. Bigger than Christmas, my Birthday or any other day of the year (Signing Day being a distant second). This is what it is all about for Michigan fans. The past 17 years I have felt like part of Moses’ tribe wandering through the desert in search of the promised land. Time to make a statement and reestablish ourselves in this greatest of rivalries.
