As much as I think the "follow" option is weak, the "ignore" option works fabulously so far. Not only are the posts from those I have chosen to ignore not showing up in the thread, but they aren't quoted in other people's replies as well. Saves me a lot of time, not having to weed through stuff that doesn't interest me. So this aspect of the new format I like.
