I took a closer look at the upcoming schedule, let me say this now: IMO if Michigan can beat Utah on the road on Thursday night to start the season, Michigan could run the table all the way to November 21 @ Penn State. At least in paper.
Thursday, September 3, 2015 @ UTAH *
- This will be a tough season opener, Utah has played Michigan very well in their last meetings (regardless who coached)
Saturday, September 12, 2015 OREGON STATE
- Not sure how good OSU will be this coming season, but I hope they experience the same trouble Michigan has had in the past when they play out West, when OSU comes East.
Saturday, September 19, 2015 UNLV
- This should be a easy win
Saturday, September 26, 2015 BYU
- This should be a win, not sure if it will be an easy one
Saturday, October 3, 2015 @ MARYLAND
- Michigan should have beaten Maryland last year, so I see no reason why they can't beat them this coming year, even at their place.
Saturday, October 10, 2015 NORTHWESTERN
- Home against Northwestern I take Michigan
Saturday, October 17, 2015 MICHIGAN STATE *
- May be first real test of the season. If Michigan is undefeated coming into this game it means they have enough talent and good coaching that they should beat Sparty at home.
Saturday, October 24, 2015 BYE WEEK
Saturday, October 31, 2015 @ MINNESOTA
- Minnesota has not really been an issue for Michigan, regardless of when or where the game has been played.
Saturday, November 7, 2015 RUTGERS
- This should be another easy win, dispute last year's result.
Saturday, November 14, 2015 @ INDIANA
- Another easy win. Crowd may actually be about 80% Michigan fans if Michigan is undefeated at this point.
Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ PENN STATE *
- This will be the big one, IMO! I assume this will be a night game, especially if Michigan were undefeated and Penn State has a good year. Might see another "Judgement Day" type game.
BONUS ROUND:
Saturday, November 28, 2015 OHIO STATE *
- I love the fact this is a home game this year. I think if Michigan, again as previously mentioned, has enough talent to be undefeated (or at least a 1 loss team) going into the PSU game, regardless of the outcome of that game. Coach Harbaugh will have his boys ready to lay the wood to Urban Meyer's boys for their opening round of what could become another War!
