... will tell us a whole lot about our team. Whether we win this one or not, we’ve got to recognize that 3-3 is as likely as, may be more likely than, 6-0. Our one-loss play so far has not included any game against a team as good as three of our next four opponents, including OSU. And regardless of what people might think after yesterday’s IU-MSU game, each of those teams can beat us. There are no guarantees coming down the stretch.
If we come through this with only one or two losses, then I think that shows this team is every bit as good as people have started to suspect. But even if we don’t finish that strong, that doesn’t mean we’ve been wrong about this team. B1G wins aren’t as easy as they’ve seemed up to this point, and we might receive an overdue reminder of that over the next two weeks. If we don’t, that will say a lot.
