Holy crap was he good! I was there for the fab 5's sophomore year, but over time you forget how great he was. So athletic. If he got the ball down low, not only was he going to score, but more often than not, he was dunking. Amazing to see a guy that big be able to effortlessly rise and dunk from anywhere. You compare it to almost any other big man and it isn't close. Even McGary couldn't get up and dunk it that easily.
Also, those teams were really, really good. They were playing with and beating teams that had seniors and juniors (mashburn, cheney, laettner, etc) and they were sophomores. Image if they all stayed four years......
