Trust me. Harbaugh likes to win, and what he saw out of O'Korn will be plenty enough for him to make a change. Things were going nowhere with Speight when he left the game. Not all his fault, once again, but Jim saw what we all saw, namely, O'Korn doing what was necessary to keep drives alive, making throws on check downs, buying time with his feet, and most importantly, leading his team to touchdowns. That last point is what matters most to Jim, leading your team to scores.
It's over folks. Healthy Speight or not, O'Korn is our new QB. And as much as I thought Speight would be the guy this year, he just hasn't been what I thought he would be and clearly not what Jim thought he would be. Turns out that spring game was somewhat foretelling. This was not meant to be Speight's team it appears. Count me among those who didn't see this coming.
