If Totch is right, and I don’t have any reason based off his previous info to not believe him, I think it goes back to this stupid entitled Michigan man BS. Hear me out.
Warde is over here saying end of season end of season end of season. He’s making it very clear contract talks happen post season. This “we do contracts at the end of the season and that’s how we do it,” goes back to what we’ve heard, just like he said he won’t fire anyone midseason. But that’s my only theory at this point.
it’s a Michigan man stubbornness of “how we do things” and he “handles” contracts at the end of the season, good or bad, regardless of how it affects things. They don’t compromise.
Tell this doesn’t make sense. Honestly as many of us have questioned, if the deal is supposedly waiting on a Warde announcement, then there is ZERO explanation of it being announced other than “this is the way we do things here,” which fits our so called “culture.”
