I have been using the big ten football season as a what not to do with my management team
making premature decisions - like most things premature - is a not so good to bad thing
can a silk purse be made out of this pigs ear - not likely - best is to make it a net zero impact if possible
not sure a “we care more” arguement will work - given you could have postponed rather then cancelled the season
the President was in tough shape to begin with given the provost situation
the school re launch has been made worse by some strange forces
saw a quote from a German contemporary lit prod complaining about the football team getting daily covid tests And saying not enough are available for the student body

as someone who knows has his name on some buildings said recently
“115000 people do not show up a for a b school or med school lecture”
while the academic is important - And Michigan is a globally top 20 school
no one is going on a Roos school message Board and talking about new accounting or marketing methods (if there is such a thing let me know as I may join) Yet here we are talking about football seasons - basketball - hockey etc
Other then possibly my son and a few others no one is worrying about German lit
on the surreal front - look for some bowls to be cancelled over covid but others to be played
geography like many things today will be the determining factor
sorry to see Dylan transfer- a great kid - perhaps the one player in michigan likes by all in the program
can not blame him for doing this now
play this year at michigan and only one year left
now he has two to play somewhere else
happy for joe - he is my favorite player in the team
but have to admit - not more pre Season heisman bs - show it on the field
surprised by nico - he hasn’t been around much - but hard to see how sitting improves his draft position
oh well - we have young talent - next man up
Hope ambry can make it a go - good kid and playing will help him get into the league
on mayfield - hope he plays if he is allowed - not sure he is as sure fire a top pick as has been reported on ESPN etc

this is a year where coaching will be key as well as conditioning
in both michigan is top notch
