The rules of a "Michigan Man" are getting more confusing

During the Rich Rod era, many believed Rich Rod wasn't a "Michigan Man" from Day 1. He was an outsider. He was a little shady. He practiced too hard. All that good stuff. Now, some are saying that if you don't forgive C-Webb for his shady business (putting the program on probation, lying to a grand jury, turning his back on his teammates, etc), you're not a "Michigan Man".

"Michigan Man" rules:
1) if you commit acts of shadiness & you're an outsider, you're not a "Michigan Man"
2) if you don't forgive an insider who commits acts of shadiness, you're not a "Michigan Man".

Do I have this correct?

I say we just stop using "Michigan Man" to win arguments. I don't think this is what Bo envisioned.
