It will be very interesting to see how the whole QB situation plays out for this year and after this year. If Rudock becomes the starter what does that mean for older players like Morris and Speight? I think for them it will only become harder to get the starting job after this year. Malzone and Gentry will have a full year to get coached up and become familiar with the playbook I think those two will only continue to improve under a year long tutelage of Harbaugh, then you have O'Korn who will be eligible to play a year from September who has experience playing the college game already had problems with turnovers but also with a year learning under Harbaugh can fix that problem hopefully, and lastly you have whatever QB they get in the 16 class maybe (Peters).

After this year you are essentially adding three new guys O'Korn, Gentry (assuming he redshirts), and the 16 class QB.You will lose Rudock and add even more bodies after this year. I have got to think one of Morris, or Speight transfers after this year unless maybe one of Morris or Speight takes a redshirt. As of right now it sounds like Malzone might be higher on the depth chart but that will be decided in fall camp. It is a tough situation for both Morris and Speight. Does anyone think one transfers before the season if they are considering that option? Not saying the writing is on the wall just yet but it appears that it is headed that way as of right now with Rudock coming in and Malzone the first QB taken for the spring game. Something has got to give eventually here is hoping it ends best for all parties involved.
